Click on the link below to watch a short video by Brain Pop Jr. called "Character".
Listen carefully to what Annie and Moby have to say about a story's characters.
When you're done reading the vocabulary words, click on the link below. It will take you to the "Talk About It" link from the Brain Pop Jr. Website.
Here you will write two lists. One will be about the physical traits of the main character in "The Brave Pirate Monkey", and the other list will be about the personality traits of the main character.
Make sure to tell Mrs. Welmer when you're done so she can print out the work you've done!

Once you're done with your main idea sentences, close the web browser, and open the program on the desktop called "Tux Paint". You will be using Tux Paint to draw a picture of your favorite character from the story. Make sure you draw a few of the physical traits you wrote on your list!
If you finish all of today's activities, tell Mrs. Welmer, and pick a book from our bookshelves for some quiet reading.
